so, on the tedium that is otherwise known as a flight from taipei to the new york area, i had lots of time. so far, i've been through an 18 hour trip to taipei, and in a few days, a 14 hour trip back. didn't sleep on the former, don't intend to on the latter...so lets just say i have some time to burn.

in shorter terms, i'll have a few deviations up within the next two weeks, when i get back home =]

(i have a weird truncated icosahedron, i think, a dodecahedron, and a cuboctohedron, if i remember correctly. attempting to expand the cuboctohedron into a 20 cuboctohedron structure, if i don't run out of paper first)

this is the dawning of the rest of our lives

My, we’re finished. Three years walking the teal and off-white hallways, three years of having no idea where my locker is. Three years of memories, some which I cherish, others which I could do without; regardless, it’s been years which I cannot put into words (…I’m afraid that I am ill at these numbers).

It was somewhat anticlimactic to leave school for the last time after graduation practice, without even the bell to count down to – totally defeats the purpose of having my watch perfectly on time.

But we’re out, and it’s finished. The end of the beginning, I suppose you could say, but now we part our separate ways. It’s somewhat amusing, actually, that the most I’ve learned is not academic matter, but a sort of acceptance of results. “Shit happens”, as Forrest Gump so memorably put it, and expletive aside, it’s a rather accurate statement. Maybe it’s a little too easygoing an attitude sometimes, but it’s worked thus far, and I’ve been pretty happy =P

The next step, then, is college. It’ll be different, but hopefully it’ll be like years of Gov School. No idea what will happen – what friends I may meet, how much piano I’ll get around to, whether I’ll be able to decorate my dorm with origami. But either way, I’ll take it as it comes.

Well. about to enter senior year in high school; therefore, I am also entering that hell of college apps.

...needless to say, don't expect too many works from me for a while =D
although after college apps, i may need an outlet for the impending senioritis...in which case, who knows. we'll see.

it is also wholly likely that I'll get so angry at the stupid essays that I'll just fold em up and send random origami art to them (i think that was aznrejects idea..?). *shrug*
